delilah is undeniably a very pretty girl, and at seventeen, she has yet to fully mature into her features, which simply leaves you wondering exactly how stunning she is going to be.

she stands at five foot two, very short but it seems to suit her very well. she's skinny, but toned. muscle outlines are clearly seen under her creamy skin, but so are bones. the hard times she is living in are clearly shown by her body. slightly-too-skinny from lack of fully nutritional food, but toned and muscular from having to be prepared to fight at all times. speaking of her body, her skin is mostly always creamy pale. she never seems to tan much, no matter how much time she spends in the sun. when she does gain a bit of color, it makes her scars stand out a little more.. and she has many. mostly on her stomach and legs; a permanent reminder of the hardship she has endured, but she wears them with pride.

small feet ascend into lithe calves and shapely thighs, meeting in an apex at her hips - wide but not overly so. her figure is decidedly hourglass; a tucked waist leads up to smooth shoulders. as far as curves go, she isn't essentially blessed in the breast department but she does have a delicious little behind. reserved for dresden of course.

her hair was once her pride and joy. now , it requires more care than she has time to devote to it, given the lack of hygiene products. if she had the guts to do it, she'd cut it off. naturally wavy, it cascades down to the middle of her back. it is a rich chocolate-brown shade, though the ends are black - remnants of hairdye from before the blast. usually, she pulls it back and secures it with a strip of fabric, though occasionally she will allow it to flutter loose. framing her features and making her eyes stand out more. almond-shaped and expressive, her eyes are her most impressive feature. a stunning blue, tinted with both green and hazel, they truly are the window to her soul.

010. CLOTHING STYLE.

given that clothing isn't as available as it used to be, delilah's wardrobe isn't as extensive as perhaps she'd like. her usual attire is simple. once-black skinny jeans, now faded to a grey-color cling to her legs. they have a few rips in them, but all-in-all, they've weathered well, held up by a black leather belt that's seen better days, complete with rusty studs and buckle. her top half is covered by a white vest top.. now faded and filthy. her boots are old doc martens, scuffed and wrecked, but they're comfy as hell.

015. OVERALL PERSONALITY.

delilah is a very open person. she wears her heart on her sleeve, and it's easy to see most of her personality within moments of meeting her. she's often termed an open book. she hates it, but it's the way she is and she can't change it.

she was never born to be a leader. she isn't strong or courageous, nor essentially intelligent. in fact, delilah i quite a shy young girl, a little insecure, like any other girl her age. she is sweet, open, and very caring, but also very quick to find fault in herself. she harbours alot of issues about her body, and yet is always able to see the beauty in other people. she tries to always have a bright outlook, though often it fails. as a leader, however, she cannot let it show. she locks her pain up inside, and often suffer from bout of depression.

she isn't all sugar and spice, though. she can be conniving, and cold, often indifferent when thing matter mot. she tries to detatch herself from people close to her when thing get tough. she requires a lot of understanding at times. her temper is famed, though it takes a lot for her to lose it. when angry, she is very aggressive, lashing out with words and fists. she aims to hurt whenever she is hurting, and it takes her a long time to calm down. days, sometimes weeks. it depends how riled up she has gotten herself.

delilah remembers nothing before the blast. she can only assume she had a pleasant life, but she prefers her lack of memories. after all, she cannot miss something she doesn't recall. her first memory is.. well.. dresden. she woke up in the church they now call home. unaware to her, he had been searching houses for food and supplies when he had come across delilah and her family: her mother, father, two older brothers and a baby sister. all had died, and delilah was weak, barely alive. he had picked her limp body up from where it lay and carried her to the church he had begun to call home.

over a few weeks he had nursed her back to health, as well s gathering the few survivors that wyatt had no found first, and eventually delilah was strong enough. what began as an innocent, platonic relationship bloomed. delilah and dresden ended up as lovers, and when their group of survivors was numerous enough, they were elected the leaders. their love seemed to give the other hope, and thus the children of the ashes were born.

since then, delilah has been a faithful lover, teaching herself to fight and to lead, generally trying to keep her head above water in the new world she has found herself in.
