THE PAST

In July of 2014, the world was growing worried. Korea posed a threat; a nuclear threat. They continued to test missiles and launch them, and there were talks of nuclear war breaking out.

It never got that far.

America, France and Britain began preparing in the event of war, building and making nuclear weapons. One Summer day, the tests went wrong. One of the missiles in the French testing facilties exploded, triggered all of the missiles to do the same. The world wasn't expecting it; people weren't prepared. The radiation spread quickly, circling the world within less than 48 hours. People barracaded themselves in their homes, but those that the initial blast didn't kill still weren't safe.

Radiation poisoning wiped out a lot of the world. It killed people slowly and painfully, specks of radiation carried on the air infected people, and they died coughing up blood. It didn't care of age, gender, race or health. Mercilessly, the radiation killed almost nine-tenths of the world populace.

THE PRESENT

Now, it is 2015, a year after the initial blast. There were surivors, though very few. The nameless British town still had forms of life in it. Why nameless? Because it is meaningless to name it, of course, or use the name it once had. There is no need for maps now. Who knows how much of the World survived, or rather did not survive? There is life and resources in the town, and outside is the rest of the world, unknown how it now is. Staying here is the safe option.

Almost.

The survivors split into three groups; two main 'tribes' and a small group of rogues who decided it was best to keep themselves to themselves.

CHILDREN OF THE ASHES • • [/font]

Dresden and Delilah founded the Children of the Ashes. A placid group, they are trying to make the best of what's happened. Food is scarce, there's no electricity, but water's still available and untainted, the flowers still grow and it's still sunny in Summer. Thing's could be worse. The past cannot be changed, and they are simply trying to have a brighter future, rebuilding themselves slowly.


WARMONGERS • • [/font]
Wyatt founded the Warmongers; a group hell bent on rising from the disaster and becoming powerful. With no law enforcement left, they make the law, and break it. They thrive on vice, violence and depravity. A group or whores, addicts and nobodies, but they're determined to make all the difference. They cannot understand the Children of the Ashes' bright outlook.

ROGUES• • [/font]

Rogues are people who do not wish to join either group, and remain neutral. They are more likely to be found at the waterworks, but are very far and few between. After all, there is safety in numbers and the tribes are exactly that.


Although it isn't all out war between the two tribes, there is always constant disagreements. Both share the town, both too scared of venturing out of it. They're unsure of what they'll find, or if the radiation has settled there. They live together, but they will never work together. The wont kill a member of the other tribe on sight, but any excuse for a battle is good enough.

So.. Which side will you choose?
