08/09/10: Pain of Salvation is officially reopened! (: - Lilyy
07/09/10: The new skin is completed, and as far as I'm aware, all kinks have been smoothed out. If you're using IE, however, you may still have problems. This is the browser, not the site. If you're using Firefox or Chrome, and there's still kinks, please PM me so I can sort them, but I'm pretty sure I got them all. (: - Lilyy
04/09/10: I'm in the process of making a new skin since the old one wasn't that good. It might take me a while to get it all sorted out and whatnot since I've added a ton more codes to make the site look better in general. If you notice any kinks, PM me since I may not have noticed them. Also, I'm pretty sure the codes will make the site look screwed up if you're using IE. If you use Firefox or Chrome, they should be okay. (: - Lilyy
03/09/10: After the site sadly died in 2009, I have decided to revamp Pain of Salvation and reopen it. I hope to see old member coming back! (: - Lilyy

All announcements will be placed here, save having them plastered all around the board. It keeps things neat. Make sure to check here occasionally to keep yourself up to date.
All pending applications must be posted here to be reviewed by a member of staff. Remember, you cannot roleplay on the boards until your application has been accepted.
Thread trackers are really handy to help you keep an eye on what threads you're in, and they can make a nice little record of all your threads you've done. Again, having one of these isn't mandatory, but they're useful.
The waterworks can be found on the edge of the city, and are kept up and running by a small group of rogues who have made it their home. Although classed as neutral territory, the management is anything but, and willing to accept bribes from either tribe. They keep the water as clean and fresh as possible, though given the time and lack of resources, it isn't always an easy task.
Any conflict takes place on the Justice Field. It used to be used for carnivals and travelling fairs before the blast, but now it is a place to settle differences. Large and flat, it is a fair place to hold fights, whether they be small brawls or large scale battles for whatever reason.
Depending on where you are in town, most of the streets are neutral territory, though they definately aren't safe. The network of roads are littered with abandoned cars and other debris.
The Children of the Ashes leaders, Delilah and Dresden, live here. Any members of the group are welcome to come in, for advice or just company. Any Children of the Ashes meetings are also held here.
The old council offices have been turned into accomodation for the Children of the Ashes. It's basic but it's given the people a home, and they seem to enjoy living in such a close knit community.
Although rapidly becoming more and more delapidated, the hospital is a vital part of the Children of the Ashes' territory. Medical supplies are kept there and it is also used as a weapons storage facility of sorts. The morgue is also an ideal place to store food, given that it's the coldest part of the hospital, disgusting as it may be.
The high school has been taken over by the Warmongers and used as their accomodation. Again, it's very basic. The leader, Wyatt, lives somewhat separately in the youth club in the school grounds grounds. The school gym is used as a weapons store.
Since no trains run anymore, there's not much point in the train station, but the Warmongers use it as a hangout, and a fighting ground. Almost like a recreation centre, or somewhere to sort out their own differences.
All the Warmongers supplies are kept in the shopping precinct and it is heavily guarded at all times. It is also the centre for their depravity, with a few shops turned into makeshift brothels and the like.
